Atari Mania is a microgame collection inspired by Atari game history. The point and click adventure sections where you explore an Atari museum serve as connective tissue between the various microgame challenge sets. While these exploration sections do succeed at making the game feel less insubstantial, ultimately they are extremely basic. However, the main problem with Atari Mania is that the the microgames themselves are rather poorly designed, and the game lacks the high energy production that make successful microgame collections feel exciting.
