Bunhouse is a simple but fun game where all you do is garden as a bunny. The core game loop is surprisingly addicting but does get a bit boring due to lack of content. I feel like this game could be so much better with more features. The basic mechanics are there but quantity comes in the form of plants to grow, not what you can actually do with them. It would have been nice to have NPCs or some kind of storytelling element to make gameplay feel more meaningful and keep it from becoming repetitive. Having special orders to fill where you're tasked with growing certain kinds of plants in time for delivery could have been an interesting challenge for example.
The art is unfortunately very inconsistent in style and quality. Some models and textures look OK and others seem like rudimentary attempts that end up bringing down the overall visual quality of the game. It's hard to tell if the varying quality is a reflection of a single artist's developing skills over the course of development or the result of kitbashing random assets but the effect combined with a mish mash of styles can be immersion-breaking and off-putting.
Overall, I think it's worth checking out, especially if you manage to buy it at a discount. If you're the type of person that likes cozy crafting sims, this will keep you occupied for a few hours. It doesn't have much replay-ability but the first play through was entertaining enough for me at least.
