I want to like Grim Fandango since there's so many qualities I love from the art (also love the backgrounds too) to the music being a banger to even the voices and writing that makes the character charming, but most of all I love the story and the world. But one major part that's holding this game back is the glitches and bugs, if they were minor or just surface stuff then generally I'll let it slide, but if they make the game unplayable then it becomes a deal breaker even worst if you don't save frequently.
Before buying the game I've hear people sing praises about this game, but there were some that mentioned the game being buggy. So I bought the game and had to test it to see if it's running alright, at first it was running alright and having a bit of fun until the forest area where a certain puzzle glitched my game to becoming unplayable.
It pains me to give this game a thumbs down since theirs so many things I love about this game, but the glitches were so frustrating that I couldn't finish the first year. If they were ironed out, then things would have been different and would have highly recommend this game. If you're planning on playing Grim Fandango, be sure to thread cautiously and save frequently or play the old version of Grim Fandango with a CD attachment if you're PC doesn't have a disc slot built in.
