Finished RM got 95% of the achievements. That's all but 1. I plan a 2nd playthrough on whatever VR HS I might get in the future. This is how VR should be used.
This game was definitely my kind of experience. Reminds me of slow moving sci-fi like Silent Runnings, etc. The settings were drop dead gorgeous. I took my time throughout so I wouldn't miss anything. Everything others said annoyed them (like the guy periodically communicating with you via radio) I really liked. It felt like something from Carpenter's first film Dark Star. The voice acting was fine and really added to it for me personally. I hope the sequel has the same.
Others have mentioned the puzzles being a tad simple. A few challenged my puzzler a little bit. But I just have to make sure to looked at everything. For anyone who might get stuck... just stick it out and keep trying. Nothing better than completing a game like this without getting a hint.
I hope the sequel increases the fright factor. The atmosphere here kept me constantly engaged. But I think it's a slight let down in the end.
Like a really great film, this was well worth what I paid for it. I tried it on the Quest 3 through Meta using Quest+. Loved it. But then I bought it and played it through steamvr and it was quite a bit better looking. This is a game to be explored fully.
I plan to take on the sequel soon. But next I'm going to Genotype.
