This game is free to play but very pay to win. There is no option for ground forces only , every ground battle is subjected to fighter and bomber destroying ground forces with no risk to the pilots of the planes. Plane deaths do not affect the spawn lives of players, die in a plane but still have same number of respawns prior to death.Very low rewards for shooting down aircraft compared to the difficulty in doing so. I have over 3,000 aircraft kills with spaa , tanks and tank destroyers more than 12,000 enemy kills and am at level 81. This game could be so much more however the developers seem reluctant to listen to player reviews. If you like to be killed by aircraft that you dont know are in the combat zone or destroyed by premium vehicles bought for real wold money, matched up against overpowered enemy nerfed if you dont renew a premium account [suddenly not able to damage other vehicles that usually are destroyable by your vehicle . Any form of complaint are defended by ' just get better' . There are other ground force games on the way without aircraft or buy to win options , as soon as one emerges I wont be playing War Thunder untill then Im hooked.
Take my advise do not play War Thunder.
