Adore Review (Tophesaurus)

I am editing this as I play. absolutely love this game. (some spoilers) Its challenging for sure, this is kinda like Diabloish in a way.
The monsters are used like skills where you send out your monsters to attack and then quickly recall them before they take damage. Just a pointer, get them before they get you. If a monster is attacking do not let your monsters take damage, unless you have a healing monster to back up the damage you are taking but healing is a bit far between as healing items are not super plentiful at the beginning, just one a day from the shop.
Some negatives about the game, its def not easy at first. Going from chapter 3 from chapter 2 was a huge jump in difficulty, I had to go back to area 1 and 2 to get some better upgrades before I went back to 3. Which did take me a few hours, but I wanted to farm and be more prepared.
I don't personally like the way the taming is, its quite annoying if you get hit as you only have so much hp and once that's gone, so are you! Then the monster is gone if you die and extra painful when its a super blessed and a direct upgrade to your favorite monster. I would prefer a more diverse and larger roster of monsters with more unique traits and abilities. The leveling is pretty slow and a pretty low level cap for the grind. More levels please. The main char is fairly useless so far, with only 1 actual ability I would really like to see more skills even if its like a double dodge simple thing. (though i'm not fully through the game I cannot say you don't get more later) If you die in an expedition you all your items, gold, shards are gone forever, you do get to keep any monsters you caught though so that's a plus. another there is no storage for gold, or other items you can lose which is a bummer so far cuz I lost 8 shard from getting distracted and died in an expedition (ouch)
I do also wish it was multiplayer but understand that its something that is being worked on. so good news and bad new there.
Things I like the most about the game are of course the monsters! I currently have 4 that carry me 2 damage dealers that synergize off each other very well and keep monsters from getting their ability off, with nice aoe auto attacks which is SUPER helpful. I have a healer which is def a welcomed feature in any monster game, this one is super helpful as I can set it up to heal a monster later or can do it instantly, which also synergizes off one of my beast monsters to regenerate energy for it's main skill. The last monster I started to use purely defensive for the main char but as I have used it, it has come to be very very handy with it's knockback, last thing you want is monsters getting close to you! The artifacts are awesome as you progress through the game and upgrade them. The traits are pretty cool tbh I didnt feel like they did that much until I got a bit further in and wow, big difference. Basically you get a monster level and then the traits are the stats, Seems to have a little RNG with it as I caught a super blessed of one of my damage dealers and it does not have the same traits. I think the game play is fun and very engaging, exactly what I have been looking for in a monster taming game.
I can't say what end game is like I am only 10 hours in at this point. This is a game I will def remember and probably replay a few times and play it again between waiting for other games to release or even just because I have really enjoy it! However this is totally worth the price and def worth the time spent playing it!
