Additional notes: I am very disappointed, in a sad way, not an angry way, which means it still gets a recommendation from me, but a small one. I understand better the Metacritic rating of this game. It had SO MUCH potential! One of the best games of all time for me is Bad Mojo, so I REALLY wanted to love this game... so many similarities! Inspired by Kafka, some personal hero story and saving someone, using pipes to explore a world (although this one is much more magic based than Bad Mojo), and reading papers scattered here and there... but aside from that? The gameplay is pure 3D platform via First Person view, dialoguing with NPCs for fetching missions (to unlock A go talk to B, but B tells you to unlock C, to unlock C you need to talk to D, etc... bad mission design), and the overall content is very short. Sadly I don't like the surrealistic/magical/philosophical aspect they took for this game, even if I understand why and the Kafka thing... but in the end it feels more like a student big project. In Bad Mojo, the realism and thriller aspect of it was the spice. Here? I could not really care about the story, the dialogues were really weird (translation problem maybe?), and the level design did not feel smart or fascinating. The music is a bit too eccentric (very arty/universitary kind of), but the voices and sound effects are good. I am so disappointed because I always wanted a modern heir for Bad Mojo... but this is not the one. It tried, though, and it could have been AWESOME, with its potential... But I will forget this game in a couple of days for sure. It is cheap though!
