Overland Review (Gvi)
Kinda not what I was expecting, though only watched first trailer for the game quite a while ago ^^'. It feels a bit like Annihilation, but with world already being converted quite a bit and way less creepiness (unless you turn on "more creatures").
You start on east coast of US and move westward, with almost no signs, except for monsters, of anything alien at the start and almost full conversion to foreign biome at the end. Game is fairly short experience of turn based road trip through not safe environment. You scavenge for supplies and fuel to continue your travel, encountering other humans (surprisingly they are all friendly unless you attack), dogs and alien creatures (who are all your enemies except one in the end). Humans and dogs could be invited to go along with you, but party size depends on your car, at most you could fit 5 party members in the van, so if you got more members than you cold take along - you are forced to leave somebody.
Graphics here is very simplistic as apparent from screenshots and trailers, music on the other hand adds to the atmosphere, with some tracks once again reminding of Annihilation.
