not fun when you fight against 6 billion jamals in rags with aks and can't win with the highly trained UN army because they do oopsies climbing high terrain
spend fortunes on the good being of the locals, have them hate you anyway
make a weekly challange where a tank commander is deployed in a mountainous area, with every jamal you kill they multiply with the goats they f*ck and disperse to other regions like a disease and capture it in lightning speed and if you had the control of that area before, enjoy the -10 reputation out of 100 because you couldn't get there with tanks before jamals with sandals did.
I honestly want to like this game and weekly challanges are what keep it still alive apart from the community scenarios. I do like hard challanges but the game mechanic works in a way to make sure you lose with the insurgents. they move to a region and capture it long before your highly trained organized soldiers with vehicles get there. remote territories have insane debuff to friendly forces, even with drone support. again, I'm not fighting the chinese army in these mountains, I'm fighting some jamals.
building initiatives take too long and they don't help much anyway, I unlock 75% of the initiative screen for civilians and still see no stabilized region.
all of these can be made more realistic with a change of couple of multipliers but who am I to judge.
