Avowed İnceleme (momosexual)
People complain about this game having "pronouns" (those pesky little words pretty much every sentence in the English language has which, for some reason, you're supposed to care about now), and that's because there's almost nothing else to criticize about this game!
The character creator is deep enough and pretty straightforward. There's a somewhat small number of options for most attributes (race, background), but each of those have quite some depth and actual consequences in gameplay - far better than having a lot of options with little to no consequences in-game, as some other games in the genre do.
Visually, the game is astounding: the scenery, lighting, flora, fauna, and even humanoid npcs are beautiful. Obsidian opted for a more artistic/scenic path in this game, and it sure is worth it. Quickly you'll realize even the normal conversations have a wide variety of well done animations instead of the same one for all dialogue, quite a well-welcomed surprise!
There's a lot of words to write about the combat, all of which positive, but I wouldn't be able to write them yet as I haven't explored all the different weapons: magic, swords, even guns, among many others - but they all seem promising and positively varied. Each weapon and combat style has a lot of depth to it, yet it's ridiculously simple to understand and get used to them in the first minutes of gameplay.
In dialogue with npcs, all of your stats and background can unlock many different things to say, and many different ways people will react to them. Also, most conversations can take a lot of different paths and varied outcomes, increasing the amount of replayability in the game (I'm not even close to halfway done with my first playthrough and I can't wait for my next ones!).
Without going too in depth into the main storyline and wordlbuilding it's, well, exactly what you'd expect from Obsidian: interesting, well-written, and always making you want to know more about it.
All in all, the game seems to be a solid, beautiful experience and, undoubtedly, among the best fantasy rpgs made so far. Can't wait to play this game for hours on end, and see what Obsidian comes up with next!
