Graven İnceleme (blue)

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE PURCHASING:
I recommend waiting for a full release before purchasing and playing this game. Why? Because updates to this game create soft locks that force you to create a new save.
Taking a step back, this game used to delete save data every time you uninstalled it from your computer. I would keep it on my computer at all times for this reason, and months ago when one of the first major content drops came out, I was super excited that I got to go straight to the new content without having to play the intro sequence for the fourth time (at that point, including the demo). However, when I loaded the game up, it warned me that the update might have messed with certain parts of the game, and when I got to an elevator that was necessary to progress, it simply didn't function. I immediately uninstalled out of anger.
A few months later, I was ready to give the game another shot. I started a new save and progressed an hour or two, but I had simply played the intro too many times and got sick of it very quick. I uninstalled it again.
A few days ago, I decided to give the game one last chance to impress me. I had seen all of the major updates and all the cool new enemies, spells, areas, etc. To my surprise when I loaded it up, my save data was still there from the last time I had played, and when loading my save I did not get a warning that my game might be corrupt from updates. I was so excited that I was finally going to get to play the new exciting parts, and it was going great until after I beat a boss in the Archives. The area right after the fight was soft locked- I was not able to hit enemies, they would not hit me, I was not able to pick up the necessary key to progress, and I was even able to phase through some doors that were closed.
I absolutely refuse to play up to this point in the game AGAIN. I have played through that sequence so many times and it is absolutely tedious. This is because of some other complaints I have with the game:
-The areas are very big and very confusing.
-Unrewarding exploration (No cool items, just health, mana, and ammo pickups. Rings seem to no longer exist early game, unless I simply overlooked them. They used to exist in earlier versions.).
-Enemies are either extremely easy to kill by circle strafing and aiming for the head or snipe you with projectiles you cannot dodge most of the time and do massive damage.
- There are magic poles that stick out of the ground that you must destroy to progress, shoot projectiles that you cannot dodge, and do 90% of your health before you are able to destroy them.
-The game will explain very little to you so you will just have to hope you explore exactly the right spot to find the item you must have to progress (this isn't necessarily bad, but it is infuriating if you are like me and have played through the areas many times and cannot remember exactly where you need to go OR if you typically like games to tell you exactly what to do with map markers).
-Every time you launch the game, you are spawned in the city hub, losing considerable amounts of progress each time you save & quit. To get back to the point you were at last time you played, I hope you remember exactly what you were doing and exactly how to get there. Enemies also respawn.
-I'm honestly not sure if this game will ever be finished. The last news update on the game was Jan. 11, and it wasn't even an update on the game as much as it was an insider look on how the map was developed.
I could go on and on about my frustrations with the game. I want to love this game so much. I just cannot be bothered to play the same boring first 3-5 hours yet again. My recommendation is that you:
1. Play the game co-op (I have never tried it so I cannot say whether the co-op mode is actually any good or not).
2. Put a day aside to run through the game in its entirety. This game is not worth playing if you cannot play it through it one sitting.
3. Simply don't buy it. Wait for a full release if you can.

Edit:
Don't even get me started on the puzzles. You will probably just end up looking up the solutions the same way most of us probably have. There's even a "simple puzzles" option in the menu, lmao.
