I have been playing SimAirport for years now, and have gotten my money's worth many times over. It is a great little airport management sandbox, where you can build whatever you can imagine, for better or worse LOL. The AI have improved over the years, but can still act erratically ONLY if YOU give them reason to. For example, I recently had PAX missing flights because outside security, I had vending, seating, and restrooms. Well yes, they sat, ate, and relieved themselves over and over until flights were missed, hurting my rep. The solution was REMOVE THE COMFORTS outside of security - now they all rush to clear security in plenty of time. You play - You learn !! Right?!
Turning a tiny airport profitable, and growing it larger and larger is a fun challenge that I pick up again every couple of years, before putting the game on the shelf again. SA could be categorized as one of those games that is EZ to learn, but difficult to Master, due to its depth. It initially took me a few tries to get the hang of multiple baggage carousels and baggage hubs, due to the somewhat complex, but logical conveyor flow. Now, all of that is as easy as pie - no worries.
The wonderful Modding community adds real-world Airlines and numerous new Aircraft and options to the game - Highly recommended. And Finally - The Devs are active and have done a nice job IMHO - Kudos !! Cheers All
