I had fun playing Tardy, however it really felt like I was simply moving from one puzzle to the next without any meaningful story elements.

❤️️ Pros ❤️️

If you like the pixel graphics style, this is right up your alley.
There's an interesting "inventory" system in the sense that all your stuff is visualised as an overlay on your screen. Feels like an annoying pop-up at times as it blocks your view of the game world, but it's quite unique and innovative.
The music is pretty good and it fits the theme well.
The puzzles seem fairly balanced, maybe a bit on the easy side. They were good enough to hold me back the process of blazing through the story too quickly, forced me to read diary entries/notes and the challenges couldn't easily be bruteforced.

❌ Cons ❌

It's short. I completed it within 2 hours. There was quite a bit to tell and I felt like they missed an opportunity here to flesh out the game a bit more.
The game is literally one puzzle after another to a degree at which the main character starts making fun of the fact as well. It feels like there's a bunch of puzzles with a story wrapped around it rather than the other way around.
You are always in one area and the solution is always in there. No multiple rooms to inspect in order to find a solution for a lock or puzzle.
There's no voice acting and only a few sound effects. Some more ambient noises would have been great to improve immersion.
There aren't many characters in the game that you interact with.

Final thoughts
I feel like this game is still too steeply priced for what you get out of it. If you get it on sale and expect a short adventure, you won't be dissapointed. However, this is not a game I'd recommend. There are better choices for a fun point-and-click adventures at this price.
