Voidwrought İnceleme (lumen)

As of release I would recommend against buying this, there are quite a few bugs and the game is missing difficulty tuning entirely - Bosses are extremely easy.
My playthrough was a pretty 'meh' experience due to the state the release version is in. But with a couple patches this game could at least be mid and be recommended at the 15-20EUR price point.
Kinda sad though, its never gonna be one of the great Metroidvanias... So much wasted potential.

-Voidwrought is not like Hollow Knight, and shouldn't be marketed like it is. To me it felt more like Blasphemous without the gore & penance.
-this game is stupidly easy after the first 2 or 3 bosses. I'm talking 'facetank the bosses without healing and kill them in 10 seconds easy'. The tutorial boss was probably the hardest.
-about half of the challenge and major ability (simulacrum) upgrade rooms have doors, which are supposed to close once you enter the room, forcing you to fight. But the doors are so slow, that you can just walk through the room, ignore the fight and pick up the upgrade.
-inputs often don't register, unless you're standing perfectly still (i.e. healing)
-movement feels exceedingly floaty.
-too many trashmobs, too much mob spam (even in bossfights) and mobs respawn the moment you change screens. Tedious.
-the crawlspace ability (like morph-ball in Metroid) is painful: Its horribly slow and Its overused, making traversing those zones painful. It also seemed to make other, later simulacrum upgrades unnecessary?
-zone progression felt weird: Everything just kept getting easier and easier, so I had no idea where to go. That's fine for a metroidvania, but its unusual to have finished the game and have no clue about the 'supposed' order of the zones/bosses/simulacrums.
-quicktravel is way too slow: incredibly slow animation and for whatever reason, the rooms are separate from the checkpoints and placed poorly, so there's a ton of backtracking.
-some of the puzzles are really cool, but most of the secrets are pointless rewards, making the world feel kind of empty. Divine Remnant#278
