I love a Little to the Left - have a ton of fun with the game, and definitely enjoyed both DLC. I wish I could give a 'middle of the road' review on this one, though, because this is probably the least fun I had with the game, unfortunately. Not all - some of the levels are excellent, but some have... simply too much clutter.
There are the issues that plagued me during this DLC:
- dodgy physics (the ice cubes vibrating into one another was probably the most prominent example of this issue, but there are some really fiddly elements that I had to click over and over for things to just finally register as inserted properly. Quite frustrating, and it was far more common in this one than in base game
- Very tiny prompts for objects to fold and unfold (honestly this might just be because I already forgot they introduced intractable elements in 2nd dlc and I completely missed that tiny little circle at one of the rulers).
- very tiny details being important. Very specific issue for me, but I have pretty bad eyesight. Seeing 4-5-6 link chains when they're very tiny, differentiating between the lines on markers etc has been very tough because of how small those elements were. The whistle puzzle and the marker puzzle were the worst on my eyes. (not to mention when you pick them up the cursor covers the chains, making it even harder to figure out. Made the puzzle very tedious and resulted in a bit of eyestrain)
- too much setup for puzzles. Puzzles just have too many elements - you can know the solution, and it will still take a solid 40 seconds to put it together simply because there are so many elements. And this can be incredibly tedious. The pizza one is the best example of this issue that I still remember, because trying out meat or veggie pizza was an extremely repetitive task of 'put x item out of the middle of the screen' repeated 40 times.
I still enjoyed it but the frustrations along the way were far more profound than before. Again, I wish I could give a neutral review. I suppose this one gets an 'if you are really STARVING for more, it'll be a good enough distraction for an hour or two' but it's not quite as entertaining as the first dlc or the base game.
I hope it's not the last DLC - I do hope there will be more. Just hopefully some of these issues can be addressed going forward. Not sure they will - but I have hope.
Edit: (With the Dev response to the review, I have hope these things will be figured out, so I'm looking forward to it!)
