It looks like Balatro × pachinko, and that's basically what it is. If that appeals to you, you'll absolutely enjoy Ballionaire.
That said, it took me all of 5–6 hours to unlock absolutely everything and beat the hardest difficulty, and now there's nothing left to do. That is a crying shame for a game that's an absolute blast despite the occasional bit of frustrating RNG. I'm sure more interesting stuff'll be along in the future, but as of right now it's quite light on content.
My other main gripe is that once you've found a good strategy, there's no incentive whatsoever to switch to another. I got through every single map and difficulty with exactly the same style of play, and none of the special boss powers (called Tribulations) really hindered me. That's in contrast to e.g. Balatro, where many of the boss powers require forward planning, as they can hard counter your deck.
