This DLC is absolute dog shit and was rushed out the door to meet the Season Pass requirement.
The only positive things about it is a) the Torgue vending machines (which only matter if you never use Gibbed), b) the Kitten assault rifle and Slow Hand shotgun, c) the ONE raid boss being a massive pushover who makes it easy to farm crystals. Everything else about it is complete trash.
The story can't even scrape by on being at least "functional". Moxxi will ask you to meet her at a location just to tell you to go somewhere else so Tina can tell you to go somewhere else. There is no reason for this runaround other than stretching out the playtime. If you want an idea of how terrible the story is, you're expected to run through the same level twice. No, this isn't a side mission where it would be acceptable. This is purely the main story. They were so fucking lazy that they expect you to run through a level twice. Thankfully, the second go around, you can just grenade jump to skip 99% of it because the people who made this suck at their job.
How about the combat? Well, half the enemies are running elemental weapons and the other half seem to be running sniper rifles. This makes for a pretty awful mobbing experience all around for what little mobbing exists. Outside of the mission required arena fight, there were like 6 mobbing encounters and half of them were in the Flyboy level. The bosses are also completely atrocious. Pyro Pete (and even his DLC, to a lesser degree) is a glorified DPS dummy a la Marcus' shooting range. Motor Mama was clearly made to be a second raid boss that likely got scrapped given the layout of the area, likely because making a vehicle-cringed raid boss sounds like the worst fucking idea I've ever heard. Flyboy gets replaced with a god damn blimp that is super easy to cheese while still being annoying to fight.
Then you have Badassasaurus. This boss makes my blood fucking boil. It's not the massive amounts of homing AoEs that will instantly health gate you. It's not the critical hit spots that don't fucking scale properly and disappear after taking enough damage. It's not the fact that you can get instakilled if he somehow runs you over, even when in FFYL. It's not the bullet reflection that will send your shots back at you. What makes this boss the worst thing Gearbox ever created is that they let you literally shoot it from outside of the arena while you hide behind the gate. Even they know this boss is fucking awful to fight and allow you to basically cheat.
This DLC is terrible. Gearbox knows it's terrible. If you care about the Slow Hand or the Kitten, just Gibbed them into your inventory.
