I am on a spree of replaying BL3 and all of its DLC - therefore I want to use this as an opportunity to refresh my memory and give proper reviews to these.
Honestly - the only negative about this one - it's way too short. I don't know if its even possible to stretch story and add more quests here, but I would be happier if Handsome Jackpot was a bit longer than it actually is.
Also I was going crazy when in one walkthrough I've got like 6 legendary mods on Zane and all of them were duplicates.
About positives:
Antagonist here didn't make me cringe and this is a hella achievement already. Pretty Boy was quite menacing and confrontation with him is a lot of fun. Says something about writing behind Tyreen and Troy - when cartoonishly pushover looking guy is way cooler villain than main story ones.
It was nice seeing one returning character and giving them some sort of a wrap-up.
DLC made me care about one-off characters more than about any other ones in main game.
Locations are marvelous and kinda remind me about some places from TPS, especially Veins of Helios, which was cool.
OST here is absolute banger.
Overall this DLC wasn't a snorefest like Bounty of Blood and playing it again didn't feel like a chore, and by the end of it you wish there was more. Out of all story DLC I would recommend to check Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot first.
