If you really like airports and planes, you might be disappointed. The planes in particular are very jank and don't behave at all like how real ones would, so you end up with lots of planes clipping into each other and taking odd flight paths. I find this somewhat funny, but be aware.
On the plus side, you get much more customizable airports, which is kinda fun. You also get an airport area tool that happens to also be an extremely fast terrain leveling tool, and for some reason you get a cargo train station that's way better than the vanilla one and should really be in the base game.
