Demise of the Faithful is a brand-new Chapter for Dead by Daylight, which includes a new Killer, a Survivor and a Map. Purchasing the Demise of the Faithful DLC will unlock its new Killer, new Survivor, and an exclusive item for the new survivor.
Demise of the Faithful was the first chapter I bought, and remains my favorite. I main both the killer and survivor of this pack. Killer: The Plague. Charge up her vomit, and spew on all the things. Any survivor who is hit with vomit, or interacts with an infected object, becomes infected. All infected survivors will cough incessantly, which allows you to easily find their location by following the sound. After their infection bars fill up completely, they will become Injured and be unable to be healed until they purge in a fountain. They also will vomit periodically, infecting any objects nearby. Purging in a fountain will clear the effects of infection, but The Plague can absorb the corruption to change her power to Corrupt Purge, which can damage survivors on contact and is basically Bubba's chainsaw and Huntress' axe's awesome baby. Experienced players say The Plague is weak because if you simply don't purge she doesn't have access to this extremely powerful Corrupt Purge, but while this is true to an extent I disagree it makes her bad. The constant coughing makes it functionally impossible for infected survivors to hide, so staying 1 hit away from death is a dangerous game. Vile purge can also be used creatively to alert you to survivors' locations; if no players are infected, vomiting on a single generator or door switch then going to another will allow you to guard that one, then rush to the other if you see a survivor become infected. Not only does this prevent them from making progress, but the coughing will allow you to find them easier. If it isn't clear, I love Vommy Mommy, lol. The Survivor: Jane Romero She's got a dump truck ass and she hits like one. I don't play a whole lot of survivor, but the Head On perk singlehandedly allows her to use lockers at a high level. Time your exit right, and the killer is stunned. If you're bad at hiding or want to add to your evasion repertoire, Jane Romero is a great pick.
Embrace the immense unknown and surrender yourself to the vast inexplicable: that is the oath of the faithful. When surrounded by darkness, they look inward for a beacon of light to follow, trusting it will lead them to safety. But when their light is distorted by pride and ambition, how long will they err in the dark?
Sold to a Babylonian temple as a child, she sought the means to repel the darkness she carried inside. She found solace in sacred rituals, where she felt safe and empowered. Faithful but proud, she began to rise in status and believed she was untouchable. But when a plague began to defile her body, she confronted her gods, realizing too late that they had no impact on her fate.
Jane Romero was striving to become a powerful icon, a voice that would inspire and support those in need. She fought against powerful executives to send out her message about owning up to your insecurities. Every day she would share her beliefs and practices with thousands of avid followers. One evening, she was driving home after a particularly stressful live show, and feeling drained, she closed her eyes for a moment that had lasting consequences.
