Certified one of 5 people who wanted D&D in DbD here.
SURVIVOR
Male and female survivor bundled into one, but really it may as well just be the elf because the human is extremely boring and has no cosmetics.
Survivors just generally have very few unique cosmetics (hella lot of recolors though. Thanks, WoTC.)
Still Sight takes too long to activate. Can be very useful for new players however.
Mirrored Illusion is very hard to get value out of but can be very funny.
Bardic Inspiration is peak funny but it's very hard to get value out of and is essentially a meme perk, not to mention that it has been bugged for a majority of its time in DbD.
KILLER
Has a tool for every situation within theory.
Held back by cooldowns.
Every power has counterplay.
Every power also has a chance for skill expression as the killer.
Very balanced killer overall who relies a lot on game knowledge.
Magic items aren't that bad except for Anti-Orb and Anti-Mage Hand. Anti-Hand basically makes that power useless unless you have addons and Anti-Orb will make that power useless especially if playing against players using communication.
Hand / Eye can be annoying but the average survivor has no idea how to use them well.
Weave Attunement is the perk everyone complains about. If you play around it smart it can be very strong, but in reality in the average game it's not nearly as gamebreaking as people make it out to be.
Languid Touch is very hard to tell if it actually got any value. After buffs to Singularity's perks "Genetic Limits" almost strictly does what Languid Touch does but better.
Dark Arrogance... isn't as bad as it looks? It can be quite good on killers who generally ignore pallets like Doctor, Xenomorph, Nemesis, Knight (when played smart), etc. However it feels like the list of killers who counter pallets but not windows is small and this perk is pretty much only useful alongside Bamboozle from The Clown. You'd get better results running just Bamboozle on its own or The Mastermind's perk "Superior Anatomy."
MAP
Awful. Worst map in the game by a pretty significant margin. Has the unique talent of being unfun for both sides.
OVERALL
Look, you already know if this DLC is for you. If you're a big D&D fan you've likely already purchased this: translating D&D spells and mechanics into DbD was done expertly, and Vecna is voiced by Matt Mercer himself.
As a non-D&D fan what are you getting? Well, two of the survivor perks suck and one is a bugged meme. The survivor(s) have basically no cosmetics. The killer is tough but fun and very rewarding. And the killer's perks are all fairly middle of the road.
I'd suggest buying Vecna with Auric Cells if you find him interesting. Other than that watch the shrine for Bardic Inspiration. This DLC has its niche but in reality it's not great.
In my heart it's an 8.5/10. In reality it's more like a 6/10.
