Rating Lara Croft's Teachable Perks
- Finesse
While healthy, your vaults are 20%; cooldown lasts 30 seconds.
"Very solid perk to get synergy from Lithe and narrowly escape being hit by the killer. I wouldn't say it is an incredibly powerful perk, but it feels good to use and has the ability to extend chase."
Great
- Hardened
After unlocking a chest or interacting with a totem, you block screaming and see the killer's aura instead for 5 seconds.
"A superior version of Calm Spirit's anti-scream effect but with some set-up required. I'd say its a decent intel acquiring and denying perk, but you will still scare crows. Unlike Calm Spirit, your interactions with totems will not be 30% slower."
Mediocre
- Specialist
Whenever you open or rummage a chest, you gain 1 token up to 6. When you hit a great skill check on a generator, it consumes the tokens and makes 4% irreversible progress on it per token.
"While an instant 24% of a generator being completed does sound mouthwatering, in order for one person to get full value out of this perk, you need to bring Appraisal or Residual Manifest, or a Coin Offering since the default amount of chests that spawn into the map is three. Furthermore, the time it takes to unlock a chest is 10 seconds, compared to the lackluster 3.6 seconds you'd save for one token. Rummaging with Appraisal requires approximately 7 seconds. This does not include the time it takes to actually search for the chests, swap the items out, then run to the generator to repair them. This is a fun niche perk that can be entertaining for a gimmick Brand New Part build, but otherwise a pure waste of time considering the amount of resources you already need to bring into the match to get full value which is at least two perk slots and an offering... when you could have just used a commodious toolbox with wire spool and socket swivel which will save you 19 seconds with no set-up required in-game."
Detrimental
"Overall, Lara's perks are a decent line up to add to the library for fun, but her only stand out feature is Finesse."
