SPOILERS AHEAD.
Main Character:
Animation of main character is somewhat ok. However my breaking point was the first introduction of climbing. What I gathered climbing is one of the important things in the game, the animation could use way more love especially because it's in 3rd person.
The face of the MC as a child and an adult is the same - literally the same just sized down, I don't see any puffy cheeks or even eyebags, big eyes that children usually have - anything that goes to show it's a child that actually grew up to be a woman. Some of the expressions are weird but I can overlook that if the game is immersive enough. It's just weird seeing the same face of a let's say 8 year old and then a 20+ year old woman without any change whatsoever.
Characters:
Half baked movement of other characters - their postures are stiff when they walk, their walk looks good only from the back view, there's so much lost potential when I can look around in scenes where I can't move and I see the characters stand almost in a basic T-pose without the arms spread out, sometimes they move for a few seconds but other times they just look straight ahead like statues for the remainder of the scene (that is also unskippable)
Sometimes in the scenes that the characters turn around and we can see their faces and they speak, they just stare emptily or grin, completed it with the stiff pose it's quite jarring sight.
Setting / scenes affording no movement:
Scenes with "interesting conversations" are unskippable (perfect example: a car ride right from the start of the story through a neighbourhood that looks as if it was put together in 3 minutes with a few people here and there "screaming" at each other as we drive through down the road, there's no other action , the conversation is so banal it becomes boring and you can't skip, thanks to that the ride itself feels too long).
Not only that - the fact that the devs chose to have MC sit at the back of the car, instead of right inside, on a seat that is empty, and there's nothing to look at, it's basically copy and paste buildings along with people. Even if the Earth is a deteriorating or supposed to be desolate, where people have almost nothing to live off, it doesn't feel like it. If there was a cutscene instead of them talking with some sad music, then it would definitely invoke something along the "damn, people really fucked up this time". It just feels like an unfortunate decision making with what will be a scene where the player can look around see nothing interesting and where we're thrust into a polished almost movie scene.
Graphic settings:
Even on ULTRA graphic settings the game feels cheap and half baked - cut scenes are well made but most of them to me are not interesting enough to watch. It feels that in regard of them everything else like the environment (on Earth) was at the last stage of development and basically no one wanted to give it more thought than maximum of an hour.
My personal take of the game:
I'm very disappointed in the game in comparison from the videos I've seen showing the gameplay and the promise of what it'd entail. I've played ONLY 79 minutes and it's enough for me that I don't like the game and wish I never wanted to purchase it in the first place. For the price I'd guess it's going to be a bit more polished if not the other characters then at least the MC, because we'll see her for the remainder of the game.
Considering that the story starts somewhere on a moon (or a station), later we're back on Earth, and we're about to go to Mars, it feels very anticlimatic to see that the environment on Earth didn't receive enough attention as everything else.
