Eador is great fun and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys fantasy genre games. There is a lot of strategic depth and the choices about how to play are limited by your imagination with the classes. The imbalances are not ridiculous.
The world difficulty is challenging and customisable. The story is long and interesting. The moral dilemmas and perspectives are also interesting. I played it for several days without getting bored.
A good value game, even for veteran gamers like me, to enjoy for many long hours. It has strategies available which seem powerful yet it never feels easy if you play on higher difficulty. It is fun to build up your power over time in the form of energy which you can spend on heros, items and units to transport between maps and conquer shards (seperate maps) to unlock new secrets of building, spells and units.
