This isn't a terrible little survivor-like, if that's your thing. The gameplay itself is decent, with a good variety of attacks and upgrades. The graphics are bright and colorful and nice to look at, though it can be difficult to keep track of what your attacks are actually supposed to be doing in some cases. The sound effects and music aren't very good at all. The sound quickly devolves into multiple overlapping "boom" explosions and gunfire and occasionally obnoxious enemy sounds overlapping the droning and boring music, consisting mostly of repetitive blooping sounds.
If you can get past the incredibly cringe "lol so random" purple-monkey-dishwasher humor (wouldn't it just be fucking hilarious if a space frog piloting a mech called in a completely incongruous Abrams tanks for some reason? Or garbage trucks to run over enemies? Or there was a Katamari Damacy or pinball powerup? Or it could call in big high top shoes to stomp on them? No. No it fucking wouldn't be.) there are actually some cool and unique mechanics here. You have two sets of abilities, one for your mech, and one for your frog, and you can switch back and forth between them while the other is reloading. There are multiple upgrade currencies that are only found on certain levels, encouraging you to mix up the things you're upgrading. Also you're given a lot of control to customize what abilities you want to appear in gameplay, meaning you can weed out the sucky ones and only have the ones you prefer show up.
