Intro
Holy Potatoes! A Weapon Shop?! - Spud Tales: Journey to Olympus is a DLC of Holy Potatoes! A Weapon Shop?! (my review), adding one new region with 3 areas to sell weapons in. It also has 3+1 main quests where you have to craft legendary weapons.
Pros:
- Limited items and smiths to add the difficulty
Cons:
- Higher leveled buyers are paying too cheap
Specs
Intel Core i5-9300H 2.40GHz, 8GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650

Yes.
If you enjoy the main game and want more with added difficulty, buy this DLC on a sale.
In-Depth Review
Visuals
The DLC uses the same visuals as the main game, albeit with some cutscenes that are unique to the story. Characters are still the same capsule-looking potatoes with the same UI and assets.
Story
Just like the main story, the story in the DLC is mostly about your client which is somehow more centered towards Olympus residents. The names are masked with puns as usual and they will ask you to solve quests, mainly focusing on crafting unique weapons. To be honest, I don't really find the dialogue to be engaging, although luckily, the game offers a skip button to get past it.
The Game
Gameplay
The DLC is mainly the same as the main game albeit with limited features. There are no quests and there is no way to check your shop summary that contains the list of buyers and your best-crafted weapon. There is a new feature, though. You can boost a weapon's stat during the smithing process. The boost amount will depend on your smith's stat, and I found the boost to be efficient. It helps to speed up the gameplay.
Your progress will be reset to 0. Your save file in the main game and DLC are separated, although I still recommend you play the main game first to learn the ropes. Yes, the DLC won't explain everything to you from the beginning. I find the decision to separate the save to be good though, especially since I could finish the DLC content in a few minutes due to my smith's high stat if I can use my main save. The DLC will impose some limitations like capping the smith to 8, and I found that the available smiths are also reduced - I keep on encountering the same smiths whenever I tried to recruit new ones.

The difficulty is harder than the first game. It's not that hard as long as you are careful, but I kept on forgetting to spare some money for my workers due to my spending. It's easy to get money by selling weapons to lower-level buyers, but your profit will diminish once you sell them to higher-level buyers. I hardly can find any profit from selling to them at first, causing me to suddenly lose a lot of money since I wanted to level up the buyers to the max.
However, the added difficulty and the progress reset also mean that you need to grind. The main quest tends to ask you to craft higher-level weapons, which is impossible to do unless you level up your smiths. However, it can take a long time to train them to an acceptable level, and using money to train them will be costly. This causes the gameplay to be repetitive - it already is in the main game, but there were some smaller goals that you can aim there to make the game not boring.

Length and Difficulty
I finished the DLC in 3h. As I said before, the DLC can be grindy and repetitive. Despite the added difficulty, it's still easy to finish as long as you are careful. Strangely, I found that selling weapons to higher-level buyers nets you less money, so it's better to sell them to lower leveled buyers instead.
Conclusion
Holy Potatoes! A Weapon Shop?! - Spud Tales: Journey to Olympus does exactly as the main game with little differences. If you like the main game and want to have more, the DLC can give you that, although it can be repetitive and slightly more difficult. There isn't much content in the DLC, but I think the price is still okay, especially since it goes very low on a sale.
