===GAMEPLAY===
The idea is nice, finally you can personalize your garden. Hurray! Right? No: buying this DLC was both the best and worst use of my money ever since I bought Ark: survival evolved.
Let me start on the positives: you can personalize your garden and finally add something to it. You no longer have to watch your overgrown garden outside of your mansion.
The negatives? Decorating a garden takes way more time than it takes to decorate your house. You have way too big of a garden and too few items to really fill it in.
Yes, after hours and hours you will have a decent garden that you gaslit yourself into liking but then you notice there are so many plants that you just used to fill it up it really makes no sense.
===BUGS/MISSED OPPORTUNITIES===
The most exotic locations (the moon and the winter-based houses) basically don't have a garden. You cannot plant ANYTHING on them.
Besides this, it's not like in The Sims 3 where you can fill a huge garden with a Olympic-size pool or just make something creative. Those are the tools you have and a lot of times you'll have to be extremely precise with making something fit as nothing is resizable.
Not even pavements. You just can't cut that tiny piece of decking board by 1 mm to make it fit. Therefore you will find yourself having to build around that.
===FINAL VERDICT===
This DLC is nice if you have always wanted to decorate your garden and have that particular itch to scratch, but otherwise it's a nightmarish experience filled with extreme fear that you'll have to change your garden completely because of one thing or just have no idea what to add.
