If you're here looking for insight on IF you should get THIS SPECIFIC pack - then here's the quick of it.
This pack would be worth it - if it was $4.
The Martini skin is - eh. It's alright! No complaints, and it blends well with other skins. The price is what makes it seem so lackluster. It's a strong and understated type.
The pistol - it looks REALLY good in the game. Straight upgrade to the base skin without a doubt.
The grenades are my personal favorite - not sure why but it tickles part of my brain that both likes candy and has odd attachments to the grenades from **Gears Of War** - my personal favorite.
Then we get to the main course
Dawn and Dusk.
Dawn, in my opinion, LOOKS STUNNING - but unless your firefight takes place in the quarry or around the mountains, there is absolutely no shot of camo and you stick out like a sore thumb. Pure-black human shapes moving around in the brush - or scurrying past a doorframe is one thing, but a pure white one makes for a much more easily recognizable target. It makes all the difference. The skin goes hard and is generally nice, but you're going to be flashbanging the enemy with a neon sign that says "Shoot me in the head please"
Dusk is the better of the two - going very very hard on appearance. Arguably one of the best looking skins in the game, being a good all-around appeal option. It's scary, it's attractive, it's cute, it's fitting, it's appropriate, it's nuanced, it's simple... it's got a lot of things going on with it - AND it isn't visibly loud.
The problem is that Crytek cheaped out on the fur detail and rendering, so your forearm is going to be a mess of poorly generated furs, unlike what you might see on the menu.
I have a 2080 Super, rendering this 6 year old game at good quality - and Dusk's forearms look like tarantula legs instead of furry gauntlets.
Minor gripes all around, but that's what you start feeling when you can't demo a skin and it's priced this crazy.
If this package is not $4 dont waste your time on it. There is good value, but every big good is accosted with a little bad each and every time.
