Orcs Must Die! 2 is a fantastic game and has completely lived up to my expectations. It features all the stuff from original OMD that I know and love, and makes it even better. Co-op enhances and enriches the experience and additional traps and new enemies as well as a revamped and more customizable unlock system make the game an absolute delight to play. I have almost absolutely no complaints and I’ll certainly encourage my friends to play this game at every opportunity.
PROS:
✓ Multiplayer co-op really makes the experience
✓ Two playable characters offer different strategies
✓ Lots of crazy variety with new traps and gizmos
✓ Excellent animation takes the visuals to the next level
✓ The same charming cartoony style as the first game
✓ Watching orcs get slaughtered by traps always brings smile on a face
✓ Difficulty levels and endless mode give reason to replay levels multiple times.
✓ New weapons and traps to use in battle while older ones have been modified
✓ Face off with more orcs than before, they brought some new friends
CONS:
- Some occasional collision weirdness, particularly with melee weapons
- Game audio and one-liners are recycled and repetitive
- Occasionally disconnect in multiplayer co-op can be frustrating
