prob my favorite movie ever
i'm just an average pinball enjoyer, not particularly skilled, and can't offer much opinion on tables etc, but i do have fun with this table.
seeing other steam reviews, i notice that a lot of people complain about getting straight down the middled, which does happen, though with enough time on this table you can get a feel for the various shots and how they line up. i find i get more frustrated hitting 2 areas on the middle left and right rather than having problems with the empty space in the lower half of the table, and find it pretty easy to chain orbits and such which is rather fun IMHO.
all the unlocks and various aesthetics here are very good, though it seems to not include original audio or music (100% for sure that it's not using ennio morricone's soundtrack here, but rather a digitized recreation instead). does have some of the sound effects you would recognize regardless.
as far as any other criticisms go, i wish this game would get some more attention as pinball m lacks very many options for tables, when there should be quite a few 'mature themed' ones (which seems to be the point of splitting this from pinball fx), but for now this is the only one of the group available that i was interested in. hope to see more interesting 70s/80s/90s era tables included like this one - ie: horror movies, games, etc. obv can imagine licensing issues, but would hope to see more than what's currently on offer (alien, friday the 13th, hellraiser, toxic avenger, resident evil, silent hill, elvira mistress of the dark, blair witch, and stand alone action/horror too like perhaps a dark souls table or cyberpunk or whatever).
as it stands, i'm not very interested in tables based on stuff like 7 days to die. this table at least appealed enough to me to get me to throw 5$ on the table to acquire it. can't say i would spend money on the others in pinball m ATM. sort of like buying a ps5 knowing you're only going to use it to play demon's souls remake, and basically nothing else.
tldr: table is good and fun, i enjoy it, but it's really the only one currently in pinball m that made me want to play it over one of the other pinball fx titles; the currently limited number of available tables is a ceiling on the interest level i have in this game, but at least this one table is enjoyable enough for me. 7.5/10, would recommend, but probably only if you're a fan of john carpenter's the thing.
