My biggest disappointment with this game is my ignorance to its existence sooner. This is one of the best Mario Party-likes out there and it isn't close (the customization, game variety, blood, etc. this screams violent Mario Party). Yes, there are some really fun games in this genre available, but where Pummel Party shines is the Steam Workshop support. Some of the available mods and mini games are truly spectacular (looking at you Valhalla remake).
There are a couple important points to note before making this purchase. This game is significantly better with controller. Some of the controls for mini games are not intuitive on keyboard and are far superior using a game pad. For a 7 year old game I was surprised to find a few public lobbies, but you will want to convince your friends to get this or find a group to play with for the best experience.
