Pros
- All characters from Nekketsu series
- Best girls are also in the game, Misuzu, Hasebe, Mami, Misako, Kyoko, and Madoka sensei.
- Good stories. Funny characters.
- Map system is good. Can travel across ancient China on foot. A lot of exploration and challenging side quests.
- Beautiful graphics. Very colorful.
- The music is really good here. Hopefully Arc System Works will use them in future Kunio games.
- Feels like reading/watching Wuxia series.
Cons
- Very big game. Sometimes its easy to forget the progress after returning from a break.
- Only Kunio is playable on solo. The AI allies only show up in story battles.
Good job Arc System Works. Please use the same artworks and gameplay from this game and Rival Showdown for future Kunio games.

Storyline

Set in the late Han Dynasty during the Warring States period where local warlords rivaled against each other, a nonsensical and exhilarating comedy adventure will unfold with Guan Yu (Kunio) as the protagonist living in the turbulent age. Additionally, familiar characters will also appear as warlords and tacticians, dyeing the world of Sangokushi in Kunio-kun. Experience the start of the turbulent age that is the “Yellow Turban Rebellion,” the famous “Battle of Red Cliffs,” and more in the style of comical action.
