Good game, but obviously abandoned by the dev
I would recommend this game, but only if you're wiling to put up with a buggy mess
Such as NPCs getting stuck on light posts, fences, and the outside wall of the shop (they can walk through inside walls) Then, when stuck for to long, they die from "poor health" which I find amusing
As for game mechanics, the basics are similar to the first game, but a lot has been changed:
•An adjustable tax for leveling up the town, but will close the shop indefinitely if the unpaid tax builds up enough
•The ability to explore and leave town
•No more barbarian raids, but 8 different types of enemies to hunt
•Daily quests for cash, and some quests which unlock more gear to purchase
•Instead of seasons, there are different events that can change daily
•Instead of classes, there's orcs and elves, both of which have 5 race items, which can only be obtained around town level 3 or 4
•Lots of new gear and food available to sell
•Max of 5 bots, they all share about a day's worth of fuel, and they're all stationed outside of the shop, on the side of the management house. They can stock, clean, repair, gather, and apparently kill thieves with a flame thrower, but I haven't actually seen that happen
•There's 3 families (mining, fishing, and magic) that become relevant around town level 3 or 4 which will help based on which family likes you best, the other 2 will hinder you
•The thief zapper installed in the door for 50k is powered in the management house, but will become useless if the fishing family doesn't favor you
•The grinder just gives a partial refund instead of the weird powder crafting system. A blacksmith, alchemist, and chef are the new crafting mechanic, and a farm outside of town can eventually be purchased from the alchemist
•etc.
