SpongeBob SquarePants: The Patrick Star Game:
I love this, this is the best idea for a Patrick Game that I could have imagined. The amount of mini games and the overall idea of Patrick being able to freely run around Bikini Bottom and just be a Goofy Goober is just an excellent idea. Props to the devs for that.
You only play as Patrick and there are no other characters that you play with. While playing you interact with various activities aka mini games (quests/missions) and don't really have a pointed out objective on what you must or in what way do, but that is the charm of this game (you can do it anyway you like - except for the final boss battle where you just have to have enough currency to continue). The menu is simple to navigate, there are also costumes for Patrick just as in the last title: SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake - but that game had segmented levels, where this is a fully open world Bikini Bottom and that means that you are free to roam the world and explore it or do anything in it however or whenever you want.
The physics do have some jank, but it is most of the time fun jank, during the whole playthrough I had 1 mission I've done that made me a little bit frustrated regarding the jank, but it was not a deal breaker. This is when you drive the trash collecting truck so keep that in mind and drive safe, also watch out for fire hydrants haha.
I'm recommending this game just for the share amount of fun I've had with it. It is different from the last couple of SpongeBob games in a lot of ways, but they do have similarities, but this is less story driven. What is good about this is that you get back from work/school, crash on your chair/couch - grab a controller and just play a SpongeBob game that has great humor (obviously - you are playing Patrick haha) and just turn off your mind and play a great Simpsons Hit and Run or GOAT simulator inspired Patrick Game in Bikini Bottom.
P.S.: Go for 100% achievements and finish everything just to see what the game has to offer as it is not a long game and I would have loved for it to have more content just for the reason of how much fun it is.
