I've shot more animals in this map in 1hr than all the animals I've shot during the time I've been playing this game across all maps. there are A LOT of animals. you can't even move for animals mate. the kamikaze Roo's are extremists, you blast their mates and they come charging at you. they're not put off by the supersonic blast of your gun, they're tougher than that.
Sadly there are no koalas. I've come to think that these people talking to you on the radio already hunted them out of the park. and the roos saw this and said not me mate. which is sad because when I saw an Australian map I wanted to blast some koalas in the face so bad. but who needs koala bears when there are 70million goats that need culling?
that said it feels realistic, there are a lot of feral beasts in Aus that need shooting ... but no rabbits yet, hopefully they'll be added at some point.
right down to business then, the maps beautiful as always, haven't explored it all yet but what ive seen is gorgeous. soundscape needs work though, its the regular ambience sounds that feel a bit odd.
there are maybe slightly too many animals on the map, but it doesn't bother me too much, its quite nice to have a map i can just go wild on and slaughter everything.
lots of different species too, this map could be the only dlc map you need if you only get one.
also saltwater crocs! crikey!
there are more species they could add too that we already have like rabbits, but it would have been cool to have some other native species.
bit sad that i bought the DLC yesterday but today its discounted, but its not much difference. for 5.59GBP this is a bargain map.
