I live in NZ and was excited to see this.
I think if you don't live in NZ you may wonder what the hell your doing which has been mentioned in other reviews.
But what you go through is a real situation in this country so consider that when playing. Its NOT just a BS story line. Many of our great parks and reserves are under threat from exactly this. So I am glad its being made a point of.
OK so. There is a bit of NZ Culture here and there. I think this reserve has a good amount of animals and you don't have to go far before you come across them. I was very happy with the riffle. but i am just starting out. so for me a nice upgrade.
But I do have a few issues.
Game play can be confusing and frustrating. Some of the targets ( areas you need to activate ) are not in same location as the target Icons. for example when you need to bunker down in the hut the target graphic was on the outside. the actual trigger items were inside the hut. And another location clearing more trash the picture icon is over a bunch of wood with a metal bowl looking thing. When in fact your target is down the hill across the road a small looking lunch box. And there's a few other locations you have to place items in locations that do not trigger easily. My advice look up the missions. There is just a few that you may need to look up. the rest are straight forward
My only other fault is the scenery. Others have commented on this and this I do agree its not NZ Native bush.
Summery.
Compared to other free maps I felt there were animals in every direction without having to go far.
Apart from the few buggy missions. I found it a great way to increase my income quickly and give me a better start.
This would suit a beginner or some one who has played but got sick of traveling all over a map without getting much.
good starter - mid level map.
I hope you found this helpful
