The greatest game ever made, and yes that too by a Long shot....
This game truly showed me how great indie games can be
Undertale is more than just a game, hell you don't play the game it's always the game that plays with you and keeps an eye on your every choice, yes even the choices of killing a random mob encounter with a fucking vegetable that isn't even a main character...
That too the game remembers those choices not only in the same playthrough but also in subsequent playthroughss!!!!!!!!!!!!
This game is just extremely reactive even to the tiniest of actions....sans can literally tell you that you've had the same conversation with him after u reload your save, or the fact that asgore knows that you've already killed him in your last fvking playthrough and just looks at you with a sad face :(
Characters like flowey who have a completely different role in other playthroughs cause heck you didn't just start a new save file, it was flowey who asked you to make a new save file
Save files aren't just a main menu feature, saving the game is a thing in the world of undertale... Few NPCs who know about save files can even remember your actions from previous playthroughs and bosses can even load your old save files to mess you up in between a battle.....
Boss fights like Photoshop ******(ofc won't name it ;) ), etc have the best mechanics and can make their own save files and load them up when they are about to die...
The game having the humour of a forum user is also cool....
Fighting mechanics are 10/10
The game just captures the idea of saving your enemies sooooooo well with the ACT options and escape features....the fight button literally feels useless
Characters are 10/10
The charming nature of them with their stories and mini quests is sooo good, funny and just makes u wanna go full pacifist in next playthrough....
Pacifism is the key in this game... Most people won't be pacifist in first playthrough but oh boy the game will manipulate you in doing so in your second one.....
The game made a mark on my mind and has surely changed my perception towards what's a great game....
The ending of the game was the best part(pacifist ending ofc)...only of the only 2 video game endings that legitimately made me cry....the credits and the final cutscene is just too good
Anyways I'm still left with the other ending (the one which no one wants to do but has to do.... Because why you ask?????? Because you have the option to do)....the ending with all the secrets and mysteries
The game has everything 10/10 even a guy who isn't into the 2D genre will love it....
Also no to mention the banger soundtrack....like heck most people in this world atleast know about the great soundtrack with 99% of the bosses having a boss music which is goated...(yes I'm talking about spiderdance, asgore theme,megalovania,nyeh heh heh, hopes and dreams,undyne theme,undyne the undying theme,death by glamour,worst nightmare,oh shit did I mention every boss theme???? Hell yessss and I forgot to name the credits song,snowdin town theme,the lava area theme I forgot name,the final battle,heck yes the list goes on and at this point I'll name every song in the playlist)....
Heck i can talk about this game for hours and hou- oh sorry I forgot to mention the incredible fanbase with millions of animations and alternate game stories...not kidding there are over 1000 Alternate fan universe of this game with some having their own books and novels and movies to watch....
The fact that this game, initially goaled over a 5000$ kickstarter, made mostly by 1 guy who did the coding, music and the game design and the story all by himself(art being down by Temmie Chan ofc) has now become an icon in the internet is just bizzare....This man right here, Toby Fox changed the internet....oh boy he did

Final Review - 10000000000000/10 i just cannot recommend it enough
Most people I know won't even care about this game thinking it's a bad looking indie that just got a good number of reviews by the fans and a game that has shit graphics, they missing out on the best experience ever....(they are ready to pay thousands over remakes of popular AAA titles that have 0 work into them)
This truly changed what's a great game for me, graphics don't count, heck after playing this I cannot even say if I would consider most AAA games to be great(with exception for the Souls franchise ofc)
