What Remains of Edith Finch is a collection of short stories about a cursed family in Washington State. Each story offers a chance to experience the life of a different family member with stories ranging from the early 1900s to the present day. The gameplay and tone of the stories are as varied as the family members themselves. The only constants are that each is played from a first-person perspective and that each story ends with that family member's death. It's a game about what it feels like to be humbled and astonished by the vast and unknowable world around us. You'll follow Edith Finch as she explores the history of her family and tries to figure out why she's the last Finch left alive.

I really want to recommend this as thumbs up but reasons, even though I got this at 33% discount on sale
Problems with this soundtrack
- Most of the songs are fairly short
- There is a lot silent pauses throughout the medium to long songs (as if to say I don't know what to add in this gap so I will add a long pause throughout it) Here is looking at "The Finale"
- Was it my imagination or was there more music content in the game, or did it just seem to come more alive within the game as oppose to by itself. (My opinion it just feels like some random soundtrack that can be applied to any game, when listening by the soundtrack itself).
- Soundtracks are suppose to remind you about the experience of either game or movie, to stir an emotion, a memory, a feeling, something...
I wanted to really give a thumbs up for the small amount I spent on this, but...
I have never asked for a refund ever for a soundtrack, and if it were possible, this would be it.
Disappointment.
