Blanc Review (Jólfóðr)

Before I say anything else about it, let me say that I would have recommended the game if not for the disruptive and definitely avoidable/fixable faults which can ruin the experience entirely.
What's good:
+The soundtrack evokes emotion and fits with the on-screen events, environements, etc.
+Absolutely adorable characters.
+Beautiful art style.*
+Cute story.
+Playable on Linux/Steam Deck (with Proton).
What's bad:
-Use of Epic Online Services... This means you WILL have connection issues, disconnects, glitchy movement, etc. throughout if you play co-op - you might even be stuck for a long time trying to get the game to understand that you both are connected and ready before you get to start playing at all - and here's where a lot of the frustration with the game lies.
-Janky and at times entirely messed up camera angles, in both solo and co-op, which the player(s) have little to no control over.
-*The fact it's mostly just a bunch of white with a bit of black lines here and there makes it nigh impossible at times to see where you ought to be going or what you should be doing.
In conclusion then, having played the game all the way through twice - both co-op and solo, on PC and Steam Deck respectively - I found the game to be very cute and emotionally captivating in spite of its faults. However, it is because of these faults that I ultimately do not recommend the game.
7/10 -IGN
