Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 Review (Marauder788)
Command and Conquer 3 is one of the best RTS games you can play today, as it has aged well with time, and the complexity and captivating game play keeps it relevant in today's market. It is an experience unlike any other as it pertains to any and everyone, as the art of war does not discriminate. Command and Conquer 3 has three different campaigns as you explore war through the eyes of the Allies, Soviets, and the Empire of the Rising Sun while dominating your foes and watching those around you become corrupt with power. Command and Conquer’s campaign has elite pacing contrary to other RTS games, as Command and Conquer 3 does not overwhelm the player with everything the game has to offer from the beginning. As the campaign develops, they slowly unravel the more advanced concepts as the player develops the skills needed to conquer their foes, making it beginner-friendly. Additionally, all the new developments do not feel out of place, as they fit well within the story, as the more advanced forms of combat only show up in the late game. Each country has unique tech and concepts tailored to its beliefs and culture, making each campaign dramatically different and forces the player to think on their feet as combat ensues. Outside the campaign, you can enjoy the skirmish mode where you can hone your skills and master the art of war, as Command and Conquer 3 gives you all the tools to make each skirmish tailored to the player's needs. This allows for an infinite amount of possibilities, making it a game you can come back to time and time again and always find something new to enjoy. I would thoroughly recommend this game to anyone who loves RTS games or is looking to get into the RTS genre, as it has something for both veterans and rookies.
