Dead Cells: The Bad Seed Review (Mr. Red Mage)
The Bad Seed is a surprisingly compact bundle of new weapons, areas, and enemies that expands upon the roster of the base game enough to be worth much more than the mere 5 dollars it costs.
Adding 3 areas, 3 weapons, 2 new skills, 6 new enemies, and 12 new character outfits, (13-14 with the new update) it takes around 3-4 hours of gameplay to see everything the expansion has to offer if you know where everything is and are only looking to add the items and outfits to your collection. The extra areas are also added to subsequent runs and in order to unlock a good amount of the outfits you'll need to have beaten the game on nearly every difficulty, thus integrating the progression of the expansion to be progression of the game.
Overall, it's a worthy addition to Dead Cells and includes more content for 5 dollars than some triple-A releases include for 20, if you like the game and want more, pick it up.
