Dead Season Review (1stReaper)
Ok i am sorry for adding to the negative reviews, however it "currently" has to be done...
i bought the game soon as it dropped but couldn't play it right away, due to having to work, but i had enough time to set my settings... to which i got first with the first red flag... why was my firewall literally pounding me with dead season.exe is trying to access the internet... from multiple different "xxx.xxx.xxx"'s and multiple different ports...

after getting back from work i notice the game has a "negative" rating which was pretty quick... after reading most had a few things in common "low hit chances, infinite spawning zombies",, and thats coming from the hard core turn-based tactics crowd...
However i like to form my own opinion...
i boot the game, select hardest difficulty, as i too, also like challenging turn-base modes/games...
played the first "mission" (tutorial mission) no problems, of course... its the tutorial mission...
start the second mission... **note i said the literal second mission**
of course... single zombie... i want to deal with it quickly and silently...
i move my survivors, closer, zombie takes its turn closer, 2nd round, i take my first survivor to kill it ... of course... 2nd "tutorial mission" surely you'd hit a high chance as well..... no... he missed... both of his 2 AP (action points).
i take my 2nd survivor,,, again... he misses both his AP's
its not till the 3rd survivor... i actually get a hit....
which using common sense would still class as the "tutorial missions", going off that logically games would normally be stacked insanely in the players advantage to get them "settled in" to the game... but to miss 4 melee attacks in a row, from survivors that clearly look like they'd excel in close range combat with skills to tailor to it.
so for this... i'm sadly going to give it a down thumbs... request a refund, and wait maybe 2-3 months, check see if the main issues everyone else is having has been tweaked before i consider buying it again.
i love zombie games, so i really do want to keep this, but at it stands at the moment i'm sorry...
for those wondering what my hit chances were, each was 50%... now of course 50/50 i'm not stupid i know i'm going to mission.... I've played x-com with its 95% hit chance,,, i know the annoyance if low hit chances...
but.... to miss 4 times in a row..... on the literal 2nd mission.... and the first moment of engaged combat at that....
I'm sorry... but just no... for now!

to Snail Bite, i do hope the glaring issues with the game gets tweaked/fixed soon because this game really does seem like it'd be a fun entertaining game, it just needs a tad bit more polish.

Regarding the above "Dead Season.exe Is attempting to access the internet".
While this is still a red flag for me personally, due to no other game causing my firewall to bombard me with the warning. the devs have spoken in regards to that issue,
