Disney Speedstorm Review (Mimic)
So far I only been racing bots (though they do give a challenge) and I am loving it!
Controls are fine, it is easy to do starting boosts and drifting feels great.
Plenty to do for those who don't want to race with actual players such as unlocking parts to upgrade your favourite racers and mini missions to keep you going.
So for those worried it is P2W, so far I not really had issue leveling up any character and shop stuff is just minor colours or starter packs if you wanna give the character a jump-start in level or two but not needed at all to race and enjoy.
As for the tracks, I love them, some have added stuff to keep them fresh and their backward versions are enjoyable too, it took me a while to realise I was racing on some tracks backwards.
Lastly, the soundtrack is awesome, I can tell which franchise it is from and still love how they have remixed/made it more jumpy for the racing genre so look forward to getting the soundtrack when possible~
If you love racers I say give this one a shot even if just the standard version, otherwise you will have a fun game to look forward to when it comes F2P (said to be next year but who knows)
Edit: I will say however I do agree it is scummy to add the packs to even play the game at the moment as DLC so you cannot get a refund if you don't like it or it does not agree with your PC.
SEASON PASS - The xp is NOT slow, go to the Seasonal Tour, the race missions give 400xp each (3 per race race) so easy 1200xp to level up the pass.
