Dungeons 4: Not Another Multiverse Review (Wolfhowl)

Played through the first two missions at the time of this review.
Did you enjoy the base game? The fourth wall/meta jokes? The goofiness? The core gameplay loop between building up your building before sending it against your enemies? Then you will probably enjoy this as well.
Into the multiverse does add a little twist by adding in base building on the overworld as well, with the 'hero' buildings and units. The hero units have a different kind of leveling from your normal units, where they are just upgraded in two big bursts to epic and legendary quality.
Decent enough for the variety it brings, and I do like the concept of even partially playing the good guys, though it doesn't really commit to it. You are playing both good (the heroes) and evil (Undead faction) working together after the first mission. Building in the overworld is a bit clunky, as the buildings are so big.
But again... if you enjoyed the base game, it is still the same enjoyable experience.
