Fallout 3 Review (Chill)
Can I recommend this game on any other platform aside from steam?

This game was my childhood man. Countless hours I spent playing this game. Love the story, the DLC is fun as hell, and you'll never forget the wackadoo journey of going from shooting overgrown roaches with a BB gun to living Randy Weaver's wet dream and blasting the heads off the remnants of the US government with a laser mini gun.
UNFORTUNATELY
this game was made by Bethesda. The Steam version is notorious for its incompatibility on any computer that is older than your grandma's dinky Windows XP dinosaur. Of course, after literally 13 years of this issue, they decided to "fix it" and break every single mod ever made.

This game is so dumb it tries to work on integrated graphics. AKA it will crash on startup because it literally will not detect your graphics card. I know this says "Intel Graphics bypass", but it works for all cards (I have an RTX 2080 super for reference). This is needed just to get the game RUNNING.
2. The Anniversary patcher
-Adds 4gb support among other things. But most of all, downgrades the game version to before the HAHA FUNNY October 2021 "fix" (((The 2021 update didn't even fix the Intel Graphics bug from step 1 LOL))).

3. FOSE (Script extender)
-Needed for modding. Make sure to run the patcher first, as it needs to be patched for FOSE to even work.
