From Space Review (ash86mac)

9/10 - so much yes.
I'm so disappointed in the human race, how deluded, clueless and tasteless you would have to be to review bomb such an amazing game like this, they clearly wouldn't know a good game if it smacked them in the face. Honestly, you ought to be ashamed of yourselves lol.
Very rarely does a game come out of nowhere, not on your radar, at a suspiciously generous price.. and become your 'new favourite game', that you can see yourself playing for years to come.
I nearly didn't buy this game, based on some of the absolutely idiotic and downright incorrect reviews.. all based on 1 - 3 hours of gameplay LOL;
claiming that 'the missions get repetitive', when at 15 hours in myself i haven't seen a single mission repeated?
'the inventory management has problems' - like any game, there is character development and progress.. at the start you can only carry a few items, as you level up, you can carry it all - and the interface works exactly as it should, you discover what your favourite items are and have them equipped as per usual.
'the save system is old school and you lose time if you die' - bruh.. there is literally always a 'safe zone' with an unlimited, anytime save point within 15 seconds walking distance on all maps.. if you cant remember to save your game after gearing up to go attempt that thing you're struggling with - that's a YOU PROBLEM. See a doctor.
'the game is too hard' - lol wtf.. I have had a couple of challenging missions i had to go at a couple of times to succeed..(i like this), there is always the option to continue roaming around the map killing enemies to continue levelling up your character so you can beat what you're struggling with. The combat challenge level and balancing is.. kind of perfect.. its the sort of game one can become 'godly' with. I hope they continue making it harder.
'its a team based game with no matchmaking' - yes, this is true and my only advice to the devs is to get this up and running asap, with crossplay would be nice.. But let me quell your concerns.. playing through this game solo (because i cant convince anyone on my friends list to try this, because of the bulls### reviews, thanks ###holes) has been an absolute delight and completely works as a single player game, in each map there are friendly NPC's with different weapons, who once you complete their quest will accompany you as a companion and help you fight, if they die, they can be found and enlisted again where you first found them. You can have a squad of 3 of these companions following you at a time.
'the graphics and art style is nice.. but' - no buts, i was concerned myself that how nice it looked could be a 'gimmick', no gimmick, the gameplay, loop and progression is fantastic. I havent even experimented with another character 'class' yet.
If 'twin stick shooter' is not your genre', fair enough - dont buy it - dont review bomb it.
If it is, for fans of games like 'helldivers' or 'alienation' etc.. man... i cannot recommend this game highly enough.. I can only imagine how much fun playing with others will be once matchmaking is introduced.
And I'm actually so impressed and grateful to the devs for offering such a full experience at such a low price, this is the way the gaming industry should be.. and their rewarded with clueless fools giving it negative reviews, after playing for 35 minutes.. such an injustice, those people will feel like such dunces once this game becomes 'popular'...
Safe to say i am so in on whatever DLC/ expansions come in the future - Devs, your good moves so far have ensured my continued loyalty and support for the future, if you guys play your cards right and continue making the right development choices in the future, this could be 'one of the best games ever made'.. a cult classic. Go you good thing!!!!
