Grid 2 Review (Yusuf Islam)
The game was released on May 25 2013 but I only got a chance to play it now. And I was not disappointed I'm probably more of a fan of Need For Speed than of similar racing simulators. I didn’t have the patience to play the first part for a long time I didn’t like the controls and somehow I wasn’t in the mood for the game. Well with the second part there was interest in what new the developers did what they added and how the game stands out from other racing toys. I would like to immediately note that the graphics are excellent the first time you start playing you especially notice it. Good physics accidents and damage to the car are worked out by the developers even the smallest details of the car are taken into account and in terms of the external picture and impressions of it positive emotions remain.
The developers provide such an opportunity to ride in old cars of those years muscle cars pony cars legendary Japanese models and the most modern fast and beautiful cars of our time. The impression from the game remains positive and the game is captivating. The beautiful landscapes around the player immediately put you in a positive mood you immediately notice the visualization of everything that is outside your car and the hunt will stop to look at everything but there is no need to drive forward. I also liked some of the effects namely the puffs of smoke escaping from under the wheels of road monsters the drift here is very well designed and it’s a lot of fun and I’m also eager to throw the car into a turn. There is a multiplayer mode for passing the game the ability to change repaint change wheels and much more in your garage all in the best racing traditions.
Based on the overall feel and features of the game I would give this game a 9 out of 10. The developers have done a good job in many aspects including the behavior of a particular car on the road control impression and feel. And the sound of the exhaust and the roar of the engine is a great pleasure for me I even turned up the volume on the speaker to listen to this symphony the sound is simply gorgeous rich ringing piercing the feeling of a real car is a separate fat plus for this.
