Heaven Dust Review (HighDensityLipo)
Quick Description:
-Heaven Dust is a survival horror game w/ a cute art style that is heavily inspired by the Resident Evil series. This game is a great example of a passion project made by a small team, w/ the goal to create a fun, modern Indie gem, inspired by a game the devs grew up playing. This game can be completed in one or two sittings (3-6 hrs), and mixes inventory management, puzzles, and killing plenty of zombies! It's by no means perfect. It feels a bit rough around the edges and offers very little challenge outside of a few obscure puzzles and some backtracking.
Consensus:
-Middle of the Road Game (Tier 4 and makes up 25% of my reviews). While I enjoyed my time w/ this game, I do think the devs played it a bit safe. There isn't one single zombie that poses even the slightest threat in this game. You only get one weapon (w/ a weapon mod and a couple basic upgrades) and you will basically have endless amounts of ammo which eliminates all tension. Fortunately, there is enough charm and genre references for fans of the genre to feel like they got their money's worth. This is a recommendation for ppl that love the Resident Evil series, especially if you can pick it up for 50-75% off.
