Layers of Fear Review (TheImpaler)
Just jumping in and graphics are fluid, sound design is beautiful (opening sequence from the original was always a favorite tune) and the creepy atmosphere is what I expect from this team. I will update my comments once I finish the game, but there is one sticky point that I hope the devs are open to hearing.
I noticed this in the demo, and here in the finished game too, that voice overs start their narration somewhere in the middle of the note/article you pick up. It is confusing, to say the least, that your eyes are telling you the top says one thing and someone in your ear is reading something else. I am thrilled to see you can turn off voice overs, but just something I hope can be fixed in future updates, or explained why this happens.
More to come...but so far I am definitely enjoying the overall experience.
