Marble It Up! Ultra Review (Emma (✿◕ ˬ ◕))
If you like Marble Blast Gold then you might like this game. MIUU handles nearly every aspect of MBG better, plus extra features. There's a few things missing for better or for worse. Some of the tech in MBG is gone or different. You aren't asked to run into a wall to gain height super often in here. You don't need to catch the inside of a sharp corner. Where MBG asks you to utilize physics quirks to speedrun levels (see the gold time requirement in Advanced Level 14 "A-Maze-ing), MIUU asks you to master control of the marble and the flow of each level. In MBG you can skip most of Intermediate Level 13 "Hop Skip and a Jump" very simply, with the gyrocopter powerup. In MIUU, you can skip most of Chapter 3 Level 4 "Archipelago" with the feather fall powerup, but you are required to use it precisely, bouncing off of some map geometry near the start. Overall MIUU is much more satisfying to play. But the heavier marble in MBG and its odd physics resulted in very unique and fun 3d precision platforming that isn't quite in any other game.
